As the COVID pandemic moves from its acute to chronic phase, leadership has been identified as a critical success factor in helping explain both our successes and our failures. Join us as Graham Dickson and Bill Tholl share the preliminary results of an action research project initiated by the Canadian Health Leadership Network looking into the differential impact of leadership “inaction” and leadership “in action” and using the common language of leadership across Canada known as the LEADS framework. ​

In a world that has a natural tendency for fragmentation, the pandemic has shone a light on the resilience of our health leaders but also exposed the fault lines in Canada’s health and healthcare systems. This session will provide an opportunity to share lessons learned to date and anticipate the challenges looking beyond COVID.​
