How can plain language summaries of COVID‑19 recommendations improve public confidence in science? Drs. Schunemann and Pottie and team launch a series of public and provider relevant plain language recommendations as part of the ‘COVID-19 Recommendations and Gateway to Contextualization’ RecMap. This session follows a discussion of the value of plain language during the COVID pandemic for vaccines, face mask, social distancing and post-COVID recs and discuss opportunities and challenges for public policy and practice.
