Dr. Samira Mubareka is a clinician-scientist at Sunnybrook Research Institute and the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto. The Mubareka lab had already been working to recover respiratory viruses emitted into the air in experimental, clinical and field settings. She is part of a collaborative team who isolated and characterized SARS-CoV-2. Join us to hear the latest updates on what she’s been working on and where COVID research is going next.
