The COVID‑19 pandemic has disrupted routine school-based immunization programming across Canada. To what degree, however, remains unknown. Without effective catch-up strategies, these disruptions to programming could severely impact future vaccine-preventable health outcomes. This project will determine the extent of the expected negative health impact of the COVID‑19 pandemic as a result of missed school-based immunization in different jurisdictions across Canada. It will also explore to what extent various policies and practices are likely to be able to catch-up on missed immunizations and mitigate those negative impacts.
