Accelerating COVID‑19 Knowledge Synthesis w/ Machine Learning
The proposed project looks to accelerate the ability for evidence based knowledge synthesis of the rapidly
expanding COVID‑19 literature base. The ability to quickly inform the broader community of current state of
evidence is critical in the current pandemic environment. The project will enhance an existing validated
software platform for crowdsourcing systematic reviews (insightScope). The team will build an add-on tool
utilizing AI based machine learning techniques to allow for rapid assessment of emerging literature’s potential
impact on current evidence, best practices and treatment approaches.
