Cancovid Message – CanCOVID

We are pleased to announce that CanCOVID has completed its original mandate as sponsored by the Innovation, Science & Economic Development (ISED) branch of the federal government.

We are now working with Health Canada, the Public Health Agency of Canada, and other partners on adjusting our activities and objectives for the remainder of this year in line with current priorities. During this time, we will continue to develop our reports and monthly events, share our partners’ and members’ initiatives, and promote pandemic-related research on our social media platforms, Slack channels, newsletter, and website.

We will be pausing our Speaker Series for now, so we can further develop our short-and medium-term program of work under our new agreement. Please stay tuned for updates on our initiatives and partnerships.

Our entire CanCOVID Secretariat remains very grateful for your support and the privilege of engaging with scientists and decision makers across the country to help advance the enormous amount of excellent research being conducted to help inform the pandemic response.
